Like many of you, I watched in shock as our government was taken over by those seeking to do harm to our democracy. I am not talking about those who broke down the doors and stormed into the halls of the US Capitol Building…I am talking about those who are elected to steal our freedoms and destroy our rights to worship as we wish.
Soon, this nation will go the way of other nations that once were the strongest on earth but no longer can claim that title. We can remember Egypt, Israel, Babylon, Persia, Rome, Greece, England, and Germany…and yes, soon to be on that list is the United States.
The “United States”. I think that term is an oxymoron. If anything we can see that this is not the United States. Our nation is only beginning the downward spiral that will lead to our ultimate destruction. The Bible tells us that a nation that turns its back on God will pay the price. America has been doing that slowly for decades, but now I believe the pendulum fully swung in that direction.
So what do we Christians do? We should do what we have always been directed by God to do. We should pray, seek God’s face, and share His message to this dying world. Remember, this is not our home. We have a job to do. Let’s stop complaining about our workplace and just keep doing our work!
