Today we begin a new phase of ministry, a written blog of what we see, hear, and observe as a battle report. We as Christian face pressure that we just have not seen coming. You know the old adage about the frog and the hot water. If you boil a pot of hot water and drop a frog in the pot, he will jump right out as a result of the boiling water. If you put the frog in cold water and begin slowly to heat the pot, he will slowly burn to death not realizing the pot is getting hotter until it is too late. We as Chrisitan are in the water and it is beginning to boil. Unfortunately, many of us have not paid attention and now it is too late for many of us. Many who call themselves Christians are so much like the world they are in the hot water and enjoying the heat.

My message for you is to get out of the water now!!! You cannot swim! The water is too dark to see through and it is too hot to survive. The Lord tells us in His Word, John 15: 18-21

18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

We did not start this battle, but we must fight it and we will win it! Remember as the Apostle Paul said: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

Pick up your sword (the Word of God) and start swinging at the enemy “for your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” I Peter 5:8. Let’s do some damage ourselves by winning some lost soul to the Lord today!
