The simple ABC’s Of Salvation
A
Accept that you are a sinner. “For All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:26
B
Believe that because of that sin, we must die. “For the wages of sin, is Death, ..” Romans 6:23a
Believe that Jesus, who never sinned, paid for our sins. “…But the gift of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23b
Believe that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16.
C
Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. “That if thou shalt confess with thy the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9,10
Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Why not ask Him today, right now? He is not willing that any should perish, but that all come to salvation.
Pray a prayer like this:
“Lord, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me! I believe that you are the son of God and that you died on the cross for my sins. I believe that you rose from the dead on the third day and is living right now. Come into my heart and save me right now! For I believe and trust in You! Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me now! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
