There is deadly Virus out there and we need the cure!

As we all are living through a difficult time with schools, churches, restaurants, movie theaters, and stores closed or reducing services due to the CoronaVirus, I am reminded that there is an even more deadly virus out there that can do much more harm. This virus kills, destroys, and leaves behind great sorrow. What virus am I talking about, the virus of SIN!

Yes, Sin is a virus. it can easily spread from person to person and will leave those in its wake devastated for eternity. The Bible says “For the wages of Sin is death” (Romans 6:23) This is a deadly virus that affects all of us without care of race, gender, or age. It is spread by all mankind. Again the Bible tells us “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 2:23). So when it looked like there is no hope for a cure, God provided one “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b). He provided a cure so we could be made free from that virus “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him” (Romans 5:8-9).

Today, you may be struggling with this virus we call sin. You can get the cure and change your life forever giving you spiritual healing by simply having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and trusting Him to be your savior. Here is what God’s word has to say on getting the cure: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13). We all have been infected but God has a cure.

Will you take that cure today?
